HISTORY
Peter Pepper Products was established in 1952 and incorporated October 31, 1955 by a man with a very catchy name — Peter Pepper. He had an idea and has worked to make it a reality: supplying faultlessly designed furniture and accessories for commercial interiors. Ancillary products that inspire efficiency and help eliminate the clutter.
Peter Pepper Products has grown over the 60 years into two facilities in Southern California employing 80 full time people. We are currently operating out of at total of 65,000 square feet.
Our in-house computerized system expedites even the most complicated orders since our products are available from one of 9 FOB points in a myriad of colors and materials. The vast majority of what Peter Pepper Products offers is manufactured in two adjacent facilities in California by a crew with capabilities in metalworking, woodworking, finishing and assembly. Utilizing a component’s system, each product is assembled only when the order for it is received, allowing the technician total quality control and the flexibility essential with the product variety offered. In addition to Peter Pepper manufactured products, distinctive furniture and accessories that help complete the Peter Pepper Products picture are selected from other sources, imported from Canada, Europe or the Far East.
With a factory-operated showroom in the Merchandise Mart, Chicago, and 60 field representatives, Peter Pepper Products is a major resource for commercial interior furniture and accessories. Interior designers and their clients attest to their expertise.
Peter Pepper Products has been under the same ownership and control for it’s entire 60 year history and a profitable company every year. We have never filed for bankruptcy protection.
Peter Pepper Products produces 14 divisions of products as represented by our individual catalog sections. We currently hold four GSA and five State Contracts covering many of these product categories.
